Unlike other restaurants, at Taléo we have a unique opinion about what makes a company successful: our associates. When our associates feel job satisfaction, they perform to their highest abilities and from that flows customer satisfaction and profitability.
Of course the guest is the first service priority. But as a business, from a management point of view, our staff is number one. It is for this reason we refer to our employees as 'associates.' Employees work simply for a wage. Associates are business partners with common goals, work ethics, and values. We have the same primary interest: the financial health of this business. There are opportunities for everyone to learn about the restaurant industry, our business specifically, the different structures that support our business, our goals for growth and much more.
Our training is fun and intense. We won’t put you on the line or on the floor until you have all the tools to succeed. You’ll learn the difference between chipotle and habanero peppers, asadero and cotija cheeses, and green and red mole. You will know the wines—how to describe and recommend them. You will learn responsiveness and teamwork. If you need extra time or training, it’s yours. And, we offer twice-monthly training enhancement programs which allows seasoned staff and new hires alike the opportunity to review the basics or learn something new.
